I am a KathNiel fan and so many negative things had been thrown at them and it hurts, so I know where you’re coming from. I’m sorry. It’s not right to bash on other artists. As a fan, I also believe that we should have respect for all artists. If we don’t like some, then we don’t. But that doesn’t mean we have to bash or insult or hate them. While we should protect our favorite artists, we should refrain from hurling hurting words towards others. We become those haters we try to protect KathNiel from if we go that route. Peace everyone! I agree! :-) I’m a KathNiel fan and I really hope this OLD VIDEO should be deleted because it’s just creating unnecessary hatred between the two fandoms. And this goes true to ALL FAN GROUPS! Like really, if you love a celebrity, a love team or a group, why hate the others?! I also REACT on some fans or sometimes, even celebrities, but I don’t bash or create hate-page just because! We should be promoting LOVE not HATE! :(

Hello! :-) Sure, I would love to share with you my view on the interview.

When I first saw it, I was at work and was only watching the online replays. I have to admit, I was like HUH?! with most of Daniel’s answers. So, when I got home, I thought I’d watch it again (I still have to watch it on TV later tonight coz, it was only shown last night or rather early this morning on TFC)

Regarding Victoria’s Secret. We have to remember what Daniel said during their interview on SIR, where Daniel said “conscious talaga sya sa sarili nya” when they were talking about the “Baba” nickname he gave her, okay? I gather from him that Kath is insecure about her body being bow legged. I am bow legged and I had to overcome my insecurities about it, and believe me, I still get conscious every now and then. Imagine Kath who is an actress and people expect her to be perfect! And haters are bashing her about it. Daniel’s answer was to assure Kath that she is beautiful and that she is perfect. And that he loves her just as she is. Boy Abunda didn’t ask “would you allow her to be a VS model” NO! He asked her, what do you think of Kath’s dream of becoming a VS model. He said “pwede”.

About the best friend thing. Daniel did say “Okay…” and explained why. Which is fair. And he then added, that there is a downside to it. He was just weighing things and was just voicing his opinion. It is possible that he is thinking of how he and Kath started. They didn’t start as best friends. They didn’t grow up as best friends. They started off as professional partners. An actor and an actress. They became love team. Then friends. So, maybe in his mind, he doesn’t qualify as the best friend. Now, on the other hand, that’s not how Kath thinks. WE GIRLS, THINK DIFFERENTLY. Kath, look at Daniel as her best friend NOW.

His answer to Enrique’s question. When you are asked about you being different from your family, what would you answer? I think it was right that he didn’t answer that question because as a Padilla, they are very protective of each other and that’s what he did. Answering something could mean “he’s better than the rest of them” which is not right, or good, nor true. As a member of a family, you should be one with that family, no matter what.

I don’t think there was an issue re-Julia’s question, so, we’ll skip that.

Lastly, his answer to Kath’s question. His reaction and reply said it all.
